Hello, I'm so glad you are here!

My name is Katie and if I had to tell you one thing about me, it is that I love my family. They are my inspiration, work, joy, and happiness.

I was born and raised in Faribault, graduating from Shattuck-St. Mary's in 1997. After earning my degree in Photojournalism from The University of Southern Mississippi, my family returned to Faribault.

At first and for a few years, I poured everything into my portrait business but was frustrated that I was missing out on our girls ("time flies" is no joke). My husband and I rearranged things so I could work from home and spend more time with them. I am able to bring the girls to and from school, take them to their activities while enjoying my home studio! My only regret is I didn't do this sooner. Being a photographer is rewarding, as I meet and get to photograph new and returning clients in and around Faribault. I am thankful for their time and for sharing their families with me. The most prized material possessions I have are the images of my family. With that understanding, it is of utmost importance that I capture your family the best I can.
